Oct. 2007: NYC Immigrant Financial Justice Network organizes protest and drafts sign-on letter to the Social Security Administration, calling for an end to "no-match" letters to employers, in partnership with the NY Immigration Coalition and local groups.

Aug. 2006 - Jan. 2007: More than 30 NYC groups complete 600 Immigrant Banking Surveys!  Surveys examined immigrant New Yorkers' financial services experiences and needs, and exposed pervasive barriers faced by low income and undocumented immigrants in the banking system.  See report.

Nov. 2006: NEDAP-led project on remittances and community development receives first place seed grant from KACF Inter-Community Development Fund.

Fall 2006: NEDAP presents on immigrant banking issues at forums organized by Federal Trade Commission, Children's Defense Fund, NFCDCU, and FDIC New Alliance Task Force.
